Here we go...

So, today's my first day on the job. Wish me luck! I'm sure it is going to be fantastic. Whenever I land jobs that I wasn't looking for it is. They never pay a lot, but they are always fun, and that I have learned can take one very far indeed. Maybe not physically as far as gas money, but mentally and emotionally they do.
So, I promised pictures of Cardinals.
They are definitely not great pictures.
By any means.
I snapped them trough a rear wind of a house we were looking at.
I saw this guy on the feeder and thought, "Of course, when I don't have a camera!" Then I remembered I had the little point and shoot for house hunting. So, again, they were taken through the window, so not great pictures and I will work on getting better. Hopefully one of these days I will have the big camera with me that can zoom in better.
Oh, and let's not forget the knitting for our March Madness Challenge. As far as the Mystery Knit Along, today the fourth and final clue comes out. No where done with clue 3 but I will keep at it. Quickly running out of the blue though, and can't get more. We'll see what I can manage. The socks are fixed and back on track but nothing spectacular. Just a couple of toes at this point.
And a picture of a tree. I just liked the look of it as I walked along The Grand. It's two central trunks kind of spiral up around one another. I thought it was neat.

Okay, off to work with me. Have a great weekend everyone. I will keep you posted on house hunting since we didn't get the one in Ada we wanted. We have an offer on one right now. The one with a fenced acre for the kids. It would be nice...

  2. Have fun with the first day selling yarn in a new location. [After all, you've fed people's yarn addictions before.] Hope you get a house you really like with lots of room for the kids.

Thanks for the photos of the cardinals. One of my favorite birds - I miss them, having seen them when living in Kansas. - Joe

  3. Have fun on the job! One of my favorite shops...I need to make a run out there myself for some needles. My favorite bird returns to Mi in early May...the Rose Breasted Grosbeak...they have a beautiful song. K
