Blossom, we are are going to miss you until we see you on the other side.
My friend lost her little girl the other night and we are going to miss her so very much. This is just one of my favorite pictures that Betsy who is an amazing photographer shared with us years ago and little did she know, I stole it off her blog and keep a copy of it on my computer desktop. Betsy brought Blossom home the same year as Emmitt found his way into my life. They were pups together and often goofed off on trails with one another as we rambled our way through the woods each with our two dogs. There are many many happy memories associated with her, as there are with any loved member of our families. Such a sweet girl will stay forever in our hearts.
The Emmitt dog and I had a good cuddle after I gave him the news. Such a reminder that he's getting older on me, as if the stiff joints and greying face and paws weren't enough.
thanks...got me crying again. it's not taking much this week. that is a cool picture. had forgotten about it. as you can imagine i have quite a few pictures of Blossom. :-)
