News... At Last.

So, as I clean the house so that a realtor can come take a look at the house and give use their sage advice (snigger), on how to best pretend we don't live here while people come take a look at it, I realize that I need to say something. Okay, It's really just my regular cleaning ADD. And to top it off, I thought the best way to de-clutter was to drink the last of the moonshine in that bottle that was sitting on the counter. Let's not discuss some of my wiser moves in this life. It's a steep curve baby.

And on the note of moves... We have been given the official notice that The Guy is being transferred to Grand Rapids. Yes, that means I will be leaving the Casper area in the future. When exactly, I don't know. But I will keep you all informed as we find out more. This information just got confirmed the other day and I thought it was best to inform my employers yesterday before posting something to my blog. Yes I know, even half baked on apple pie moonshine my professional voice out weighs my voice to blog about the big event. Crazy...

So, with that said, I am going to continue scrubbing, and de cluttering before the real estate guy gets here. And no, I am not getting rid of any of the wheels or the loom. Don't waste your breath. The cat though... kidding. The wretched beast will go with us. Seriously though, anyone have extra boxes?

Talk to you later, and discuss...

    1. Just remember, Grand Rapids isn't all that far... A couple days drive. And they have some nice fiber festivals in Michigan.

    1. I know, but Fairbanks wasn't our preference and Shiela would not have coped with January in Fairbanks well. Heck, not sure how Emmitt would have done.

  3. Well...We've talked about my separation issues. I hate to see your family moving away but it's just one of those things. Thank goodness we'll be able to keep in touch, regardless. Let alone the possibility of road trips.

Meanwhile, we have time to enjoy together before you actually have to say "farewell." And that's all I can write for now...I'm getting emotional. - Joe

    1. Road Trips rock! Besides, I like I said am not sure when the move will occur. We are busy just cleaning up the house a touch so that the house will be showable. We have high hopes for the price we can ask for the house considering the work we put into it.

  4. I hope you get your asking price and then some...the good thing is that you have a really good location for schools, parks, etc. Then there is all the upgrades and other work that was done within the past few years. At least the electrical work won't need upgrading. [Ducking...]
